I was in Melbourne from May 4th- 7th for a uni field trip which was a lot of fun. I got to stay longer than the last time I went, so a lot more exploring, and partied/drank three nights in a row which I don’t think I’ve ever done (even for schoolies I paced myself) so I officially still got ittt! I also got the chance to catch up with Hee-Young which was awesome, I haven’t seen her since high school finished, i.e. 2 years ago. She took me to this cute little cafe on Little Bourke St called Brother Baba Budan. It was one of my highlights because I love quirky little places and this cafe sure was decorated in an interesting way - dozens of wooden chairs were suspended on the ceiling! Apparently they make really good coffee, I don’t drink coffee though so I ordered their hot chocolate and I was very disappointed, it just tasted like hot milk. Maybe they were having a bad day, but it just cuts me when ‘good coffee’ places make bland hot chocolate. Pretty awesome place though!
